Set in the magical world of La Belle Epoque Paris, where fashion, glamour, and passion prevail, Lerner and Loewe’s celebrated musical is a romantic comedy about one young woman’s journey to find her true self… and her true love.

Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s celebrated musical, updated for contemporary audiences, played a pre-Broadway engagement at the Kennedy Center in January 2015. The show then moved to the Neil Simon Theater in time for the 2015 Broadway season. This Tony-nominated production of Gigi starred Vanessa Hudgens (Grease Live!, High School Musical), Tony Award winner Victoria Clark, and Tony-nominated Dee Hoty. Gigi was directed by Eric Schaeffer (Million Dollar Quartet, the eight-time Tony-nominated Kennedy Center revival of Follies) with an entirely re-envisioned book by acclaimed British playwright and Emmy-nominated screenwriter Heidi Thomas (Cranford, Upstairs Downstairs, Call the Midwife). Costume design by Tony Award Winning Cathrine Zuber, lighting by Tony Award Winning Natasha Katz, sets by Tony nominated Derek McLane. Gigi performed at the 2015 Tonys.
